Here are a few stand-out favorites:
- The Queen’s Palette // Pantone reviewed the Queen’s fashion history and created her own Diamond Jubilee Color Wheel (via swissmiss).
- The Gold Rush // This WSJ article reminded me of wonderful summers spent gold panning, dredging, and swimming during the day (plus nightly poker tournaments) along the Klamath River with my dad’s family. Oh the joy of days in the sun, roasted marshmallows, and teenage crushes.
- Places // Any ideas on how to convince Martin that Mykonos, Greece, should be our next vacation?
- Get Smart // The US Olympic Trials began yesterday with the hammer throw in Portland on the Nike Campus. For those of you who aren’t ardent track and field fans, please check out House of Run’s series on The Non Track Fan’s Guide to the Olympic Trials.
This weekend I’m hoping that the sun sticks around so that I can do some lazy reading. I’m also working on a balcony garden, but first I have to solve the watering problem as we don’t have access to a nearby spigot.
And finally, a view of my favorite Zurich church, the Predigerkirche. One Friday this summer I will make it to vespers.
Schönes Wochenende und Schön Sabbat!
